Inclusive workplace
Organizations cannot thrive without facing and dismantling the systemic biases, policies and practices that maintain the status quo. I support internal leaders to understand the current state and articulate their bold aspiration for a more inclusive workplace, then implement practical solutions to close the gap.
My process for conducting an internal gender audit begins with in-depth discussions with senior-level leadership to understand business goals and articulate a compelling vision. In addition to reviewing data and policy documentation, I speak with staff members from all levels to make sure their voices and experience are at the center.
Because the ultimate goal is meaningful change, I support the development of an action plan, socialization strategies and accountability, and provide coaching for HR leaders and internal champions during the implementation phase.
Gender audits recognize intersectionality, taking into consideration other aspects of identity among your team members such as racial identity, national origin, religious expression, disability status, veteran status, age, etc.
